Each household (property owner) is allotted refuse and recycling bags each year. New bag slips are mailed out by the City Collector's Office based upon property owner name once a year with dates and locations for distribution, which is usually in early Fall. You can also check your refuse bill and the City's website for announcements, locations, dates, and make-up dates. You must present your slip to receive your garbage bags at the designated pick-up locations. If you are not the property owner, you should check with your landlord. You can obtain your garbage and recycling bags outside the designated pick-up dates at the City Collector’s Office located at the City Service Center, 915 Quarrier Street, Suite 4.
