Who does loose leaf pickup for the City and when?

The Street Department services loose leaf pickup. During the fall months, a schedule will be posted on our website. If you have any questions, please call us at 304-348-6850.
For Fall of 2009, the schedule is :
Loose-leaf collection will begin on Monday, October 26, 2009. Loose leaves should be raked to the edge of the street; we will not pick up leaves that are raked into to the alleys.
Please do not mix tree limbs, yard waste or flowerpots in with the loose leaves, for these things will not go through the leaf vacuum. The pick-up schedule is as follows.
Monday and Tuesday – Kanawha City
Wednesday and Thursday – South Hills
Friday and Saturday – West Side and East End
